Sawyer was born on April 22nd, 2008 on his cousin Leila's birthday! Our lives have been changed as a result.
In the last month, Sawyer has become the new center of my world. I find myself forgetting about work and counting the minutes until his next feeding, fretting about how warm or cold he is or how many dirty diapers he makes. I contemplate his smiles and try to decide if they were meant for me or a result of gas. I can’t remember what life was like before him.
At his one month appointment we learned that Sawyer weighs 10 lbs 10 oz. That is a whole pound more than he was a week ago at my breastfeeding group! What a porker!
